Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect your personal information, and the rights you have over it.

This Privacy Policy explains how Danucore Limited (“Danucore”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit our website, use our online application portal at ai.danucore.com, contact us, do business with us or apply to work with us. It also explains the rights you have over that information.

We are based in the Isle of Man. We handle personal information in line with the GDPR as applied in the Isle of Man by the Data Protection (Application of GDPR) Order 2018, and the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018. When we deal with people in the United Kingdom or the European Union, we also follow the UK GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), and the EU General Data Protection Regulation and ePrivacy rules.

Information We Collect

When You Visit Our Website

  • Technical and log data. Our servers record the standard information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the date and time. We use it to run and secure the website and to fix problems.
  • Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies. We use PostHog to see how visitors use the website, for example which pages are viewed, what is clicked and your approximate location, worked out from your IP address.
  • Advertising data, only if you accept marketing cookies. Google Ads tells us whether visits and enquiries came from our adverts.

Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use and explains how to change your choices.

When You Contact Us

If you email, phone or write to us, we collect your name, your contact details, the organisation you work for and anything else you choose to tell us.

When You Do Business With Us

If you or your organisation are a customer, supplier or partner, we keep business contact details and records of our dealings, such as contracts, correspondence and invoices.

When You Apply to Work With Us

If you apply for a role, including through our online application portal at ai.danucore.com, we collect:

  • Your account details: your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form that we cannot read.
  • Your interview: everything you write in your conversation with our AI interviewer, any files you upload, and the role you applied for, with the dates and times.
  • Other application information: your CV, employment history, qualifications, salary expectations, right to work, and notes from any interviews with our team.
  • Our assessments: summaries, scores and rankings that we and our AI tools produce when assessing your application (see below).

Please do not send us special category information, such as details of your health, religious beliefs or ethnic origin, unless we ask for it.

Our AI Interviewer and Candidate Assessment

When you apply through ai.danucore.com, your first interview is with an AI interviewer: an AI system, not a person. It asks you questions about the role and your experience and responds to your answers.

We also use AI tools to help our recruitment team assess applications, for example by summarising interviews, scoring applications against the requirements of the role (such as skills, experience and salary expectations) and comparing applications for the same role. We also check for answers that appear to have been written by AI.

  • People make the decisions. AI assessments support our recruitment team but do not replace it. A member of our team reviews applications and makes every decision about whether to progress, offer or reject. We do not make recruitment decisions based solely on automated processing.
  • You can ask for a person instead. If you would rather not be interviewed by our AI interviewer, or want a person to review your application or an AI assessment, email jobs@danucore.com and we will offer you another way to apply.
  • Where the AI runs. Our AI interviewer and assessment tools run on Danucore’s own systems, and your application is kept on our own servers in the Isle of Man and the UK. We do not send it to outside AI providers.
  • AI can make mistakes. That is one reason a person always reviews AI assessments before any decision is made.
